We'll meet at the bottom of the parking lot (the lot goes up a hill to the station) of the Cold Spring Harbor LIRR station, right at the "T" intersection of Route 108 and Woodbury Road. We'll walk up 108 to the junction with Route 25A, and walk 25A, through Cold Spring Harbor, to a gas station bathroom, up a very nice hill, to West Neck Road. Then West Neck for a mile or so, and then zig-zag our way to Huntington Harbor, and down along the Harbor to a rest stop at the Town Dock (where I am hoping that the ballfield bathrooms are open for the season). Then we will retrace our steps, with a slight detour when we get back to 25A, to a nice pizza place.
The round-trip is just about 15 miles.

This would be the walk that resulted in my really attractive tan lines. Which I still have. Over a month later. Lesson learned...sunscreen from then on!
