We started in the parking lot of the Cold Spring Harbor railroad station. Some of us got a little lost ... but we took our first steps around 8:30ish. This first shot is of Cold Spring Harbor. Beautiful!
We walked on into Huntington ... taking a left and walking toward the harbor.
There was no problem finding someone to take a picture of Burt and his Babes.
We walked through lovely neighborhoods ... and all decided we wouldn't turn down any of the beautiful homes we saw!
We walked back on New York Avenue to Main Street for PIZZA!
This was just off Main Street and I had to take a picture ...
It's important to remember why we walk ... why my feet hurt as I write this ... why we put up with the heat ... and the traffic ... and soon we will put up with 3 days and 60 miles and tents and trucks and porta potties ...
We walk so we and everyone we love will live a life that is free of breast cancer.
Everyone deserves a lifetime!
